Over the last nine weeks, Hotel Arts Group has been offering curbside pickup of our “Greatest Hits” featuring items we’ve enjoyed serving in our restaurants (Yellow Door Bistro, Poolside by Hotel Arts, Raw Bar and Oxbow) over the years. Chef Quinn Staple also prepared Easter Dinner and Mother’s Day Brunch offerings to celebrate these special holidays. Nils Schneider, one of our Pastry Chefs, prepared Schneider Snacks to enjoy on Monday nights for evenings when he was featured on Top Chef Canada Season 8 as a contestant. We have also launched our new Sourdough Flatbreads on Wednesday nights, Cocktail Kits of some of our favourites from our licensed poolside patio, select wines from our restaurants and tasty chilled brews and ciders from our friends at Village Brewery. 
We are overwhelmed by the support that Calgarians have shown us with tremendous response to our online ordering system. From its outset, the goal was to share our brand of cuisine with guests to enjoy in the comfort and safety of their homes while keeping some of our artisans working. For the most part, it was Chef Quinn Staple doing the heavy lifting throughout this process but we were gradually able to being back several of our artisans to help service the growing demand.
Now that the economy is gradually re-opening, we are excited to welcome back guests to Yellow Door Bistro and Poolside by Hotel Arts as well as to Oxbow at Hotel Arts Kensington. Our plans are to open our restaurants on Thursday, June 4th with new hours of operation, delicious menus as well as new health and physical distancing protocols that adhere to the guidelines mandated by the Government of Alberta.
We recognize that there are many Calgarians that may continue to face challenges due to compromised immunity or other factors and/or those who do not yet feel ready to venture out and dine in our venues as restrictions start lift. As a result, we still want to provide options for them so we’ll be updating Hotel Arts To Go next week to offer curbside pickup of our dinner menus at Oxbow and Yellow Door Bistro from 4:00-6:30pm (Yellow Door Bistro will be open daily and Oxbow will be open for dinner Tuesday thru Saturday). Our team will also offer our lunch menu from Poolside by Hotel Arts for curbside pickup daily from 11am – 12:30pm.
Thanks to everyone for support local businesses like Hotel Arts Group during the pandemic and in the weeks and months that follow as we try earnestly to get our economy rolling again in a safe and sustainable manner. We really appreciate your patience, understanding and support. We are excited to serve up delicious dining experiences for you again whether they occur in our restaurants or in the comfort of your homes.
