COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS UPDATE (effective September 20, 2021)
The Government of Alberta’s Restriction Exemption Program is in place at this facility.  In order to access the pool for swimming during non-service hours, please see the front desk and be prepared to show proof of vaccination, negative test results, or vaccination exemption documents.  Masks are required in all public areas of the hotel.

Guests have full access to this urban oasis and popular licensed patio. Join us for weekend brunch or all-day eats and a refreshing swim in our urban oasis.

Now open year-round. Enjoy endless summer at Hotel Arts with our pool and patio covered by an inflatable roof in the cooler months (typically September through May). The covered oasis maintains a comfortable 24 degrees with a touch of humidity.

Hotel Arts Guest Access

Registered Hotel Guests at Hotel Arts or Hotel Arts Kensington receive priority access to Poolside by Hotel Arts.

Registered Hotel guests receive complimentary access including towels and a coveted seat Poolside at Hotel Arts. A 2 hour dining time limit is applicable during peak times and peak days.

Reservations can only be made within the limits of a guest room reservation. Please make your Poolside reservation as early as possible after confirming your stay by calling our Front Desk at 403-266-4611.

Please note: Poolside by Hotel Arts is subject to its fire-code capacity, and as such, a hotel room booking DOES NOT guarantee a spot at Poolside by Hotel Arts. Advance reservations for registered hotel guests is strongly recommended and can be made via our Front Desk at any point prior to your arrival.

Non-Hotel Guest Access

Non-hotel guests can now make Poolside reservations through OpenTable, based on availability.  A 2-hour dining time limit applies during peak times and peak days. A $20 pool usage fee per person may apply for pool use.

Non-hotel guest access will be first-come, first-served beginning after May-Long Weekend.

Poolside guests can take advantage of FREE Parking in the Hotel Arts surface lot! Hang on to your dining receipt and parking ticket to have it validated at the Front Desk.

Poolside reservations will only be held for a maximum of 15 minutes, at which point the table will be released. Please show up on time!

Please note, as per the Government of Alberta’s COVID-19 public health requirements, effective on Monday September 20th, in order to provide in-person Food & Beverage Service, Meetings and Events, and for hotel guest access to our swimming pool and fitness centre, guests and/or attendees must be prepared to show proof of vaccination, negative test results, or vaccination exemption documents. Room service will be available to those guests unable to provide this documentation. Masks will remain mandatory in all public areas of the hotel.
