Join the Calgary Performing Arts Festival for their 3rd annual Serenade Gala at Hotel Arts. Celebrity Emcee, Rex Smith, will be hosting the event as CPA pays a grand tribute to Broadway and Musical Theatre, in Met-Gala style. Enjoy performances by Rex Smith and The Dino Martinis, a reception style dinner, dancing and a live auction.

Arrive in theme, with 1920’s or 1930’s attire (think flapper styles to sleek evening gowns), and mind the Gala Photo Prohibition – where all photos must be taken and posted in black and white or sepia.

Calgary Opera’s season opener, La Bohème is a witty, passionate blend of joy and sorrow, following the lives of a group of young artists as they eke out an existence on the bohemian fringes of Paris.

Enjoy dinner before the show at Oxbow Restaurant in Kensington. Their Showtime menu includes two-courses and a glass of wine for $30.

Get an exclusive sneak peak of the room designs, feast on catering by Hotel Arts and Meez Cuisine & Catering, enjoy entertainment by Justine Tyrell Duo, and watch live creations of wearable Christmas couture by internally acclaimed floral designer, Lea Romanowski.
