Hotel Arts Kensington re-opens its doors on Thursday, June 4th. With the gradual lifting of government restrictions in the COVID-19 era, our 19-room boutique hotel is ready to welcome back our guests to our charming venue nestled in the heart of Calgary’s Kensington District.
As part of our “Fresh Start”, Hotel Arts Kensington will be including complimentary self-parking in our Best Available Rate when you book online or through other reservation 
channels. While non-essential travel bans and border restrictions are still in place, we anticipate that the bulk of our guests over the course of the summer will be from Calgary, from throughout Alberta and also from neighbouring provinces driving to our venue for “staycations”. As such, we felt that our guests should pamper their vehicles with complimentary parking in our underground “boutique parkade” too.
While free parking is a nice start for those traveling to our intimate 19-room hotel, we have some other welcome additions too. When making a room reservation, guests can also add enhancements to their booking like our “Fresh Start” Breakfast Delivery to their room/suite. We will have multiple points where guests can purchase this option to enjoy a contactless delivered breakfast including at the time of booking, upon receipt of their confirmation, linked from their pre-arrival email and again, at check-in. With coffee and tea service already offered complimentary in all guestrooms at Hotel Arts Kensington, the contactless delivery of a “Fresh Start” breakfast will be a terrific way to “fuel up” before heading out to explore Calgary.
Delicious dining experiences have long been a hallmark of a stay at Hotel Arts Kensington and we are delighted to be bringing them back. Oxbow, the acclaimed restaurant at Hotel Arts Kensington, will re-open for our guests and the public on Thursday, June 4th. Oxbow will be open Tuesday thru Saturday for dinner service from 5-9pm. It will also be open on weekends for a special four-course à la carte brunch offering from 8am – 1pm.
Oxbow will be a welcome spot to unwind and dine at your own pace. In an era of social distancing, we also have terrific options for our guests to enjoy with seating in our cozy dining room, inviting lounge and on our sunny patio overlooking the Bow River and Downtown Calgary. While seating is restricted to 50% capacity, there should be ample room for our guests and the public to enjoy a wonderful and safe dining experience at Oxbow
