While Chef Quinn Staple remained busy over the past few weeks with new creations for curbside pick-up, he couldn’t be more excited to welcome the team back to Yellow Door Bistro and our Hotel dining spaces. There is an inspiration and spark that we get from welcoming guests and employees back to our restaurant – the ability to come together over food is very powerful.
When we opened 8 years ago (almost to the day!), our signature Yellow Door represented the potential of new possibilities. We are excited to build on this energy as we reopen our doors to the community. Drawing on our roots of bistro-style cuisine, with a twist, Yellow Door Bistro continues to serve-up dishes inspired by fresh, local ingredients. Describing the soon to be released menu, Executive Chef Quinn Staple notes “guests will see some new, fun and exciting menu offerings in Yellow Door Bistro as well as a few ‘Staple’ items.” These Yellow Door Bistro favourites include our French Onion Soup, which is Chef Staple’s go-to on a cold winter day. Made with gruyere, crouton and oxtail the French Onion Soup paired with Yellow Door’s Twice Cooked Fries, is the perfect comfort food combo.
