Spring is slowly coming to a close and with the official first day of summer right around the corner (June 21st), it is the perfect time to start planning some summer activities and excursions. SPEND AN EVENING WITH DR JANE GOODALL
Any animal lovers out there? If yes, we’ve got just the activity for you. On June 22nd, Primatologist and Anthropologist, Dr Jane Goodall, will be joining us right here in Calgary at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.
For those of you who may not know, Jane has spent her career studying wild chimpanzees and advocating for animal welfare around the world. It was through her inspiring work over the years that she was named the UN Messenger of Peace. This month she will be joining us in Calgary to speak about her experiences and sharing ways we can all come together to do more for animals and the environment in a time when it’s more important than ever.

Spend the afternoon looking back at history. Check out Calgary’s Glenbow Museum popup exhibition space at the Edison. The current exhibit, Here to Tell: Faces of Holocaust Survivors is a commemorative and educational exhibit filled with honest emotion. The exhibit consists of multiple components, including a photography exhibition; a 30-minute documentary; an 18-panel Yad Vashem Holocaust display; and behind-the-scenes documentary photographs. Take a step back into history and experience an exhibit like no other.

Wander Contemporary Calgary – a modern museum with wide-open spaces and many stories within its walls.
