Hotel Arts has partnered with Plain Jane Events to launch an entertainment series featuring acclaimed local performers. Unwind with Acoustic Tuesdays, featuring local Jazz and Civic Symphony artists. Ramp-up with Wet & Wild Drag Wednesdays, a quirky series of events hosted by local drag legends. And drop some beats with Throwback Thursdays, featuring local DJ’s spinning your favourite tunes. All hosted Poolside at Hotel Arts.

Poolside by Hotel
Inspiration flows poolside with Acoustic Tuesdays. Enjoy musical stylings by local artists every second Tuesday, paired with oyster and prosecco specials served up poolside. Acoustic Tuesdays Poolside at Hotel Arts are expected to start Tuesday, February 9th. Doors open at 6:30pm and show starts at 8:00pm.
Wet & Wild DRAG Wednesdays
Poolside by Hotel Arts
Wet & Wild Drag Wednesdays, a series of not so ordinary events, are hosted by local drag legends. Enjoy half price bottles of wine and a poolside menu by Yellow Door Bistro. Wet & Wild Wednesdays Poolside at Hotel Arts are expected to start Wednesday, February 10th. Doors open at 6:30pm and show starts at 8:00pm.
Throwback Thursdays
Poolside by Hotel Arts
A beats and treats series with local DJ’s spinning your favourite throwbacks and drink and pizza specials from Yellow Door Bistro. Throwback Thursdays run every second week Poolside at Hotel Arts and are expected to start Thursday, February 4th. Doors open at 6:30pm and show starts at 8:00pm.
Stay Safe at Hotel Arts Group
As we welcome our valued guests to our establishments, Hotel Arts Group has implemented a number of new protocols to ensure the safety of everyone, while maintaining our full service model.
Throughout your experience, you will see new protocols in place to ensure guest and Artisan (staff) safety. Physical distancing measures will be in place with signage, wayfinding, directional markers, table spacing, stanchions, plastic shields, elevator notices, and traffic flow decals to promote 2-metre distancing between all individuals. We have also decreased shared contact points and increased all cleaning and sanitizing protocols. Plain Jane Events Show Postponement Policy
Our first and foremost priority is the safety of our guests, entertainers, crew and partners.
Should we reschedule an event based on recommendations from Alberta Health Services and the Government of Alberta, all purchased tickets will be valid for the revised, announced date. Though it remains unclear how this situation will continue to unfold over the coming days or weeks, we intend to reschedule as many events as possible once we receive the go-ahead that it is safe to do so.
We realize postponing and rescheduling an event may come as a disappointment to some, however, during these ever-changing times we hope you understand these decisions are not made lightly. Our hearts go out to the incredible entertainers and crew with whom we work, both on and off stage, many of whom have lost other work as a result of this unprecedented global situation. To them, we send our deep appreciation and respect.
